Today, John arrived to care for one of our AC Units that had quit yesterday. John was AMAZING as he arrived in the morning of the same day that we reported our problem. We were able to find out what was wrong and he was able to fix it immediately. He explained what happened to the part and replaced it in a timely manner. He is professional, yet friendly and we spoke briefly about the possible need of a new unit, but he didn't try to sell us one and reassured us that should this happen in the future that he and his company would be glad to offer their advice. Not always can we feel secure in the service we receive, but we can with John and his employees at Price My AC.com. Jon, Kayden and Johnny came to my primary home to fix my AC. Turns out I had a freon leak, they fixed it, added freon and got my Trane back up to 100% working condition.

I was searching for an A/C company to do an annual inspection of my 7 year old Coleman A/C unit. I was getting several email requests from Semper Fi with their $17.75 A/C check up special. They were very professional. The technician was very friendly and thorough. He showed me pictures of areas of concern that may result in expensive repairs down the line. His suggestion was to replace two parts that were still covered by the
Coleman10 year warranty. I almost agreed to schedule it until he reminded me the warranty did not cover labor. That would come to $951.28 after Semper Fi's 20% military discount. I told him I'd have to think about and would call back with my decision.
Later that day, I was talking to my neighbor who suggested I call John Lamont with PriceMyAC.com. He told me his family had been using this company and would always recommend John's service. I thought a second opinion wouldn't hurt, so after a couple days, I called the company, explained the situation and set up the appointment. John was very transparent. He looked at the A/C unit and explained that if I wanted to replace the parts, he would for about 1/3 of Semper Fi's price quote, but one of the parts wasn't worn enough to be replaced and the other more expensive repair didn't need replacing in his opinion at this time. Our 16 year-old AC went out in the middle of July. The fix was prohibitively expensive so it was finally time to get a new system.
John gave us the most detailed and transparent quote I've ever received from a contractor. It even included their overhead rates, which I've never seen anyone else do. I really liked knowing that they were charging an agreeable rate for their work, and not just hiding the amounts in their top level numbers like almost all other contractors do.
We got several other quotes, but no one else was coming close on price for the unit we wanted (high efficiency Bosch unit). After speaking with John, he gave me a lot of confidence that he knew a lot about HVAC systems and was dedicated to providing a high quality installation.
The installation went well, the few hurdles that came up were handled with no issues. Our house is now nice and cool, and we will definitely recommend John and PriceMyAC to friends and family!

Came out at precise appointment time. Tech needed a little help from owner. Owner came out quickly and had my AC working perfectly in very little time for a very reasonable cost.
